With the 2025 racing season put to bed, it was time for everyone to let their hair down and come
together to congratulate and celebrate the British Barcelona Club Award winners of 2025. The 131
Members and guests from the BBC and Central Southern Classic Flying Club made their way to the
Marsham Court Hotel in Bournemouth over the weekend of 14
– 16
November. It was so lovely to
see so many members of the prize winners collecting their accolades.
Our guests of honour for the weekend were David and Anita Parsons with David presenting the cups
and trophies for the evening and we would like to thank them for agreeing to come along and join us.
nothing has been missed and I am truly thankful for their help. Firstly, our Master of Ceremonies
Robbie Hooper who truly does a wonderful job, Anne Hooper and Jane Cable who organise the flowers
and the disco and assist with the setting up of the trophies and also help with the presenting too. Terry
Peart who kindly agrees to be our photographer for the evening, We must not forget Simon Cable who
who keeps out of our way.

The 2025 AGM took place at 2pm on Saturday 15
November at the Marsham Court Hotel. The
minutes from the 2024 AGM were read out and passed as a true record. The balance sheet and
accounts which had been circulated previously were also passed as a true record.
There were 59 resignations, this included 23 defaulters this year. These were all accepted with regret.
