BURTON & SOUTH DERBYSHIRE FEDERATION.

Alan Stretton takes 1st and 2nd fed as South Derbyshire lofts dominate out of Yeovil(2).

Saturday June 13th saw 68 members from 8 clubs enter 1078 birds for the second visit to the Somerset town of Yeovil. The pigeons had a very blustery WNW wind to compete with, and it came as no surprise at all to see the South Derbyshire lofts dominate the result; with Swadlincote Town taking 9 of the top 10 positions.  Alys cut the strings and liberated the birds at 10-15 in a strong and at times a cool WNW wind.
